At United Crop Science Pvt. Ltd., our research scientists are focusing and adopting a multi-disciplinary effort that is driven by breeding to evolve hybrid and inbred varieties of our mandate field crops that would
cater the future need of farming community with value added traits.
United Seeds is driven by intensive research in breeding and developing of best seed varieties and hybrids. Our R&D Scientists are constantly working to develop products having resistance against major pests and diseases,
higher productivity, and consumer’s preference.
R & D is the backbone of the company and encompasses both “Field and Laboratory Research Activities”. The Department is headed by a Senior Director Research who is a distinct Plant Breeder. Crop Breeders assisted by
Jr. Breeders and Research Assistants work on specific crop or at times a group of crops. The outcome of the research (Hybrid/Variety) is tested by concern staffs that test the evolved hybrids/varieties under different
agro-climatic zones for their performance.
